Hello! So we've been on this mission to find something other then butter or olive oil to cook our food. And what we have found is called Ghee. Now that we've tasted this golden deliciousness it's much easier to get addicted to it and make it ourselves. You'd be surprised how easy it is to make and since we live in Sweden it's a bit difficult to find in stores (without it costing an arm and a leg).
This is mostly a recipe that my boyfriend discovered and has told me of it's benefits. Apparently, this is considered golden liquid in India. It is important to use high quality butter to create Ghee of he best flavor. This is great for your nails, hair and skin as it has vitamin K. This vitamin is good for people in need of calcium and if you want to ingest more foods with vitamin K here are some: spinach, kale, asparagus, Brussels sprouts and turnips.
